Here’s all your NFL news from around the league for 9/27, pulled together from some of the most reliable sources in the game. Everything you need in one snapshot, so you don’t have to spend your night searching for it yourself. My mission is simple: make your life easier and leave the hard work to me. Now enjoy!

🦬 Buffalo Bills

  • D.J. Moore and Keon Coleman were ACTIVE despite entering Sunday with shoulder and ankle injuries. Moore went on to lead Buffalo in targets and receiving yards.
  • James Cook handled an 86.2% opportunity share, every Buffalo RB carry inside the five and the only RB rushing attempt inside the 10. Josh Allen continues to take some goal-line opportunities while Ty Johnson was involved on passing downs.

🐬 Miami Dolphins

  • 🚨 De'Von Achane suffered a knee injury and was ruled OUT. He briefly returned to the sideline without his helmet or shoulder pads, but HC Jeff Hafley said afterward that the initial outlook β€œdoes not sound very optimistic.” More information is expected Monday.

πŸ¦β€β¬› Baltimore Ravens

  • Zay Flowers went from a true game-time decision to ACTIVE after looking good during his pregame workout. Mike Garafolo reported before the game that Flowers could be limited to approximately 20–30 snaps. Flowers later finished with 5 for 84 and 1 carry for 20 yards. (Mike Garafolo)
  • Mark Andrews suffered a hand injury and was listed as questionable to return.

🟀 Cleveland Browns

  • The Browns do not want a weekly quarterback competition and believe Deshaun Watson has earned the right to remain the starter. (Ian Rapoport)

🟑 Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Jaylen Warren and Michael Pittman Jr. were both ACTIVE after entering Sunday questionable. Pittman returned after missing one game with plantar fasciitis.
  • Warren exploded for 176 total yards against Cincinnati.
  • Pittsburgh started Brock Hoffman at right guard and Max Iheanachor at right tackle, the first start of the season for each.

πŸ‚ Houston Texans

  • Nico Collins reportedly has a β€œdecent chance” to return in Week 4 from his hamstring injury.
  • πŸ‘€ Woody Marks received and converted a goal-line opportunity against Indianapolis.

βš”οΈ Tennessee Titans

  • Tyjae Spears returned from his ankle injury but aggravated it during the game and was listed as questionable to return.

πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Jalen McMillan injured his knee and was ruled OUT.
  • Bucky Irving appeared to suffer an injury late in the game, with Kenneth Gainwell replacing him. Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT, called it something to monitor heading into Week 4 because the specifics remain unclear. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)
  • 🚨 Baker Mayfield dislocated his right thumb. HC Todd Bowles confirmed the injury, and Mayfield will undergo an MRI to evaluate possible ligament damage or an avulsion fracture. (Adam Schefter)
  • Jeff Mueller projects a minimum absence of roughly 1–2 weeks, while an injury requiring surgery could potentially extend that to 4–6+ weeks. That's medical interpretation rather than a confirmed recovery timetable. (Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT)

🐾 Carolina Panthers

  • Jalen Coker returned from his ankle injury but then suffered a quadriceps injury and was ruled OUT.
  • Xavier Legette was inactive because of his knee injury.
  • Bryce Young has been attacking farther downfield under OC Brad Idzik, entering Sunday among the league leaders in air yards per completion and attempt. (Joe Person)

🐏 Los Angeles Rams

  • Puka Nacua is inactive Sunday night. Adam Schefter reported that the groin injury has affected Nacua's explosiveness. Los Angeles still views the injury as short term, although surgery hasn't been completely eliminated if he fails to improve. (Adam Schefter)
  • Ian Rapoport indicated Nacua could return as soon as Week 4. (Ian Rapoport)
  • πŸ“ˆ Davante Adams has 13 catches for 230 yards and two TDs on 18 targets across two Rams games without Nacua. (SumerSports)

☠️ Las Vegas Raiders

  • πŸ”₯ Brock Bowers immediately reclaimed a massive role in his season debut: 13 targets, 10 catches, 116 yards and a TD despite Las Vegas entering the game planning to manage him cautiously because of his knee.
  • Jack Bech suffered a broken forearm and is headed to injured reserve. Ian Rapoport reports that Bech is expected to return later this season. (Ian Rapoport)

⚑ Los Angeles Chargers

  • Omarion Hampton and Keaton Mitchell operated in a legitimate timeshare. Hampton handled 15 carries compared with eight for Mitchell, an important limitation on Hampton's immediate fantasy ceiling.
  • πŸ‘€ Tre' Harris led the Chargers with 6 catches for 76 yards. Ladd McConkey finished 4/66, while Quentin Johnston went 3/40. That's a receiving distribution worth monitoring going forward.
  • The Chargers entered Week 3 missing four starters, including important pieces along the offensive line.

πŸ—½ New York Giants

  • Devin Singletary was a healthy scratch, a meaningful signal regarding the Giants' current backfield hierarchy.

✈️ New York Jets

  • Adonai Mitchell was inactive with his finger injury. New York was also without Omar Cooper Jr., Tim Patrick and Arian Smith, leaving an extremely depleted receiver room around Garrett Wilson.
  • Zack Rosenblatt projected a highly concentrated opportunity for Wilson while identifying the depleted receiving corps as a prime opportunity for Kenyon Sadiq. (Zack Rosenblatt)
  • πŸ“ˆ Sadiq delivered: 7 catches, 105 yards and a touchdown.
  • Garrett Wilson was evaluated for a concussion during the game but cleared and returned. (Aaron Glenn)
  • 🚨 Breece Hall suffered a thigh injury and was ruled OUT.

🟣 Minnesota Vikings

  • 🚨 Justin Jefferson suffered an ankle injury and was ruled OUT, but the early postgame news offered some optimism. HC Kevin O'Connell said Jefferson tried multiple times to return and that the initial injury did not sound β€œterribly serious.” Further evaluation is still needed. (Kevin O'Connell via Ben Goessling)

🌡 Arizona Cardinals

  • πŸ‘€ Michael Wilson has 31 targets through three games compared with just NINE for Marvin Harrison Jr. Previous analyst work highlighted Wilson's fit with Mike LaFleur's slot-oriented usage.

πŸͺ– Washington Commanders

  • Jacory Croskey-Merritt handled a 69% opportunity share and Washington's only RB attempt inside the 10. Rachaad White retained the passing-down role, handling 92.3% of RB third-down work and 64.3% of two-minute snaps.

πŸŒ‰ San Francisco 49ers

  • 🚨 Mike Evans was active despite his hip injury but later suffered a rib injury and was carted off. Ian Rapoport described it as a rib strain, with a complete evaluation scheduled for Monday. (Ian Rapoport)
  • Trent Williams suffered a stinger, went to the locker room and was listed as questionable to return.
  • πŸ”₯ Brock Purdy has 789 passing yards, nine passing TDs and 10 total touchdowns through three games with just one interception. He currently leads the NFL in passing touchdowns.

Dynasty Angle

Welcome to Angle Ranks. My name is MK. I live on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm married, and I have a 6-year-old who keeps me very busy. My love of sports actually started with soccer- played all throughout high school. That was the first sport I really fell in love with. Then when I moved to the States at the age of 16, I watched football for the first time in Spokane, Washington. The Seahawks became my team pretty quickly, and I never really looked back. I started playing fantasy football in 2008, and over time that turned into playing keeper leagues and then becoming a total dynasty nerd. I love the team-building side, the long-term strategy, rookie evaluation, trade markets, player value, really all of it. That's what pulled me into creating content. One fun fact- My son and I share the same birthday and I'm trying my hardest to make him a Seahawks fan too! I built this site because I've always hated trying to make fantasy rankings on generic tier-builder sites. They're clunky, the player pools are outdated, the images aren't fantasy-specific, and I've watched all my favorite content creators constantly fighting the tool instead of just making clean rankings. I wanted something built specifically for our fantasy football space. I hope you find it useful- it's built to help you get organized, but also to get creative. I'm always open to feedback, so if something feels clunky or you've got an idea to make it better, let me know. This site is for you as much as it's for me.
